Cellphone Default Unlock and Security Codes

I came across this PDF file used for testing mobile phone signal strength in the field.

To do this, it covers how to access the programming menu which is used by your carrier to connect your phone to their service. To get to this menu, it gives you the default security/unlock code to most phones where needed. It has been my experience that both Verizon and Rogers do not change their codes from the defaults. Thanks to this I am using a Verison branded Motorola E815 with my MTS carrier. There are usually two codes, one 6 digit and one 4 digit. The 4 digit number is often the last four digits of your own number. For example the code for 555-7104 would be 7104. So if your interested in a new phone and plan to buy one from a friend or on eBay, stick to those branded phones and you should have little trouble switching it to your new carrier.

RedBull Winch Hunt: Winnipeg

On June 24th, I was involved with filming a RedBull sponsered wakeboarding demo in and around Winnipeg, MB. The activity started at The Forks where everyone met up before having a bite. Below is a picture of the riders transportation as well as the RedBull minis which provided cold drinks throughout the day.

Our first location was the fountain in the park in front of the Legislative building. Despite “No Swimming” signs we never received any trouble throughout our time there.

Other locations throughout the day included Kildonan park, St. Vital park and Asper’s boat house.

Thanks to A.J. Potrebka for the photos throughout the day. The complete set of photos can be found here.

When I get a hold of the completed video I’ll be sure to post it.

Flip Cup Series

Back in the end of April, we had a party at our place to celebrate the end of the school year. A flip cup game arose from this and out came the camera. I finally got around to editing out the crap and ended up with this.

Its pretty long, but my god did it make me laugh. Check it out.

The Beer Car

I have recently acquired a 1994 Ford Aspire (its not a car yet, but it wants to be one someday), once again paid for with beer. This will be the second vehicle I have traded beer for.

The car is in decent condition but lacking a key. Hot wiring it to run was the easy part, but the steering wheel lock really held me back. I had to disassemble the steering column to remove the ignition to allow me to steer. I have no idea how car thieves manage to release that lock so quickly since it took me well over an hour. If someone could enlighten me, feel free. I have replaced the steering column with one with a key so I can use the car normally. Thanks to this I now have a unused airbag that I plan to have some fun with. If you have any ideas other than just blowing it up, I’d love to hear them.

Deer!

After putting it off for a few years, I have completed Deer! In this game you run down as many deer as you can before your truck breaks down or runs out of fuel. There are obstacles such as pylons, potholes and oncoming traffic which you have to try to avoid hitting.

I’ve been meaning to do more with the site lately but since I have moved back to Rivers, I’m incredibly busy. Hopefully I can make some time to make some more content and perhaps finish some parts of the site…(Ex. top left corner of the page)

Prairie Drift

Here it is, finally complete. I’ve had pictures of some of the film on Flickr for a while now, but now heres a video form.

We are horrible actors, but the driving makes up for it I think. Also nearly half of it is bloopers while the credits are running, but they make me laugh.

Vocalcopter

This is my new game entitled Vocalcopter. In the game you control the helicopter with the volume of your voice to dodge obstacles. You sound kinda weird playing it, but its a good time.

You may notice the Armor Games logo and links in the game. I have entered this game in the Armor Gaming Challenge #5 contest. You can see the details of that contest here:
http://www.armorgames.com/contest5.html

The game is also now on Newgrounds, and if you could do me a favor, go over there and vote on my game for me.

You can view the highscores for the game here:

Until next time, happy gaming.

First Round Of The Season

Bryce and I found a dry spot at a local school to hit a few golf balls to warm up for the coming season. Finding them again wasn’t easy by any means, but it made it interesting.

We later moved to the Keystone where there was a lot less snow. It was easier to find the balls, but actually retrieving them was not as easy.

We used my car as a golf cart to navigate our way through the mess of a field.

When it was all over, my five iron was the only casualty. After contacting the ball the head of the club broke off and flew into the distance. I guess I was due for a new one anyways.

New Design

Well I made the new design, it’s simple but I like it. I will make some minor changes and time progresses but the main design will likely stay the same. I should have all of the games, cartoons, and videos up and running shorty.

The Beginning

Well the sites running enough to be a site. In the near future Im going to redesign it to be compatible with IE and just to make it look better. I’ve put some flash up and a couple videos so you can go play with those. The system isnt very pretty currently, but it is functional.
